Executive Coaching

Professional Coaching that helps clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives through an ongoing partnership with the coach. Through the process of coaching, clients deepen their learning, improve their performance, and enhance their quality of life.

In each meeting, the client chooses the focus of conversation, while the coach listens and contributes observations and questions. This interaction creates clarity and moves the client into action. Coaching accelerates the client’s progress by providing greater focus and awareness of choice. Coaching concentrates on where clients are today and what they are willing to do to get to where they want to be tomorrow.

Target Group

Jennifer Carter & Associates Inc. offers coaching to three employee groups.

  1. Executives, senior managers and those high potential individuals identified for succession planning within your organization.
  2. Those employees who are of great value to the organization but have plateaued in their career.
  3. Those individuals who have considerable technical knowledge who need help with their leadership and interpersonal skills.


The relationship between the client and the coach is completely confidential. This ensures a totally open relationship where clients are free to divulge their concerns, goals, dreams, ambitions and roadblocks to their success.


Accountability is critical to the coaching relationship. At the end of each coaching session clients are given homework to help them move forward. This action deepens their learning between sessions.


An intake session consists of a two hour meeting to establish an understanding of the process, determination of goals for the coaching process, accountability requirements, confidentiality and mutual agreement to proceed. We would review any feedback; e.g., performance appraisals, or 360° feedback that the client has available. At the end of the first session, the coach determines if the client is ready for the coaching relationship. Clients determine whether or not they are comfortable proceeding with coaching and specifically with that particular coach. If the coach does not feel the individual is ready for the coaching process, alternative avenues may be suggested.
